テーブルにある姿が凛として美しいバターケース。片手で持ち上げたときに持ち上げやすいように縁に覆輪があります。国内はもちろん、海外市場もターゲットに考えて様々なバターのサイズに合わせました。国産の一般的なものは「バターケース」にすっぽり収まります。「ハーフ」は半分に切ったもの、カルピスバターなどでは四ッ切にしたものが入ります。バターとケースとの間にバターナイフも入れやすく、フタの開け閉めにもストレスがありません。ケースごと冷蔵庫に入れても問題ありません。

モチーフは香合。四十沢木材工芸が輪島塗木地を作る中で培ってきた伝統的フォルムを昇華しデザインしました。蓋と身が重なる部分はインロー式、身側には覆輪があります。四方はゆるい胴が張った形、蓋の上面はさらに微妙なカーブを描いており、カンナ仕上げの職人の手わざが生かされています。
材料は国産桜材。少し赤みがある優しい色合い、すべすべした手触りです。

「帯ノコ盆」はバンドソーで一枚の分厚い無垢板から３つのお盆を切り出して作っています。
帯ノコで側面板と底板を切り出した後に接着し、材料を無駄にすることなく、無垢板の量感を活かしたお盆を作ることができました。
食卓ではティータイムセットや、カトラリー、調味料など。リビングでは日用品を。こまごましたものの定位置として優しく受けとめてくれます。
